MEMBER SERVICES COORDINATOR

The Member Services Coordinator works closely with the Member Relations Coordinator, the Communications Coordinator, and the Shows & Events Coordinator to organize, administer, and evaluate member networking, communication, and education activities provided by the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Implementation of 6 month communication touchpoints for new members
• Development and coordination of Ambassador Taskforce communication and activities including business visits and member drop-in opportunities
• Oversee member upgrade management to ensure maximum usage of tools provided (member profiles, e-blasts, roundtable invites, receptions)
• Distribute and coordinate content for regular member communications, including but not limited to: monthly e-newsletter, weekly upcoming events e-blast, weekly member marketplace e-blast, website, and social media
• Coordinate monthly After Business member networking event
• Investigate and coordinate development of other regular (bi-monthly) member networking events and activities to address member segments that may be underserved (ie: young professionals)
• Provide assistance to Show & Events Coordinator in the administration of shows and events
• Assist in the successful coordination of professional development and advocacy related events, as needed, including seminars and speakers series activities that advance the Chamber strategic plan and advocacy plan objectives
• Attend chamber special events and other external meetings as determined by the President
• Any other duties as may be assigned

• Good social media skills
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite -Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook, Access; Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; and, Word Press

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
Internal – Chamber Staff, Board of Directors
External – Exhibitors (existing and potential), Membership, Media, Suppliers, Sponsors
