The Ambassadors are a dedicated team of professionals from various backgrounds who serve as liaisons with Chamber members. The goal of the Ambassadors is to encourage meaningful participation in the Chamber’s programs and services for new and existing members in an effort to build member commitment and increase member retention.
The Education Committee fosters dialogue, promotes initiatives, recommends and implements strategies that create awareness and facilitates active engagement between members, student services representatives of educational institutions and the business sector in Thunder Bay.
The Finance Committee provides the association with financial leadership, organization, administration and policies, all of which assist in attaining financial soundness.
The Marketing Committee provides direction on the development of marketing initiatives meant to reinforce the Chamber’s reputation as the Voice of Business.
Policy & Advocacy Committee
The Policy Committee connects volunteers and members to key issues and decision made on vital issues such as the economy, taxation, labour, social reform and healthcare. The Committee monitors government initiatives of interest to Chamber members, surveys and informs members of the impact of such initiatives and formulates responses to the government on behalf of our business community.
Quality Management Committee
The Quality Management Committee strives to promote quality management awareness, recognize achievement and educate Chamber members and the community about the benefits that can be derived from providing good quality products and services.
